I walked in looking to make an appointment for a pre purchase auto inspection and they were able to get me in right then and there. Very thorough and honest about the issues with the car and wether or not to buy to drive home and approximately cost of fixes. Front desk attendant gal was also very nice. I appreciate their professional, honesty and good demeanor

Being a young woman like myself, having car issues can be a daunting experience. You never know who to trust in fear of someone taking advantage of your lack of knowledge with cars. But lemme tell you, Browns has been nothing but thorough, transparent and friendly each time I’ve worked with them. Their customer service is incredible, and no matter what the issue is they ALWAYS take the time to explain the problem clearly and at my level so I don’t feel as though I’m left high and dry. Their prices are extremely reasonable (this being said after comparing prices to other shops in Vancouver), and it’s clear they have mechanics and technicians who really know their stuff. I’ve never once felt as though they were just trying to make quick buck from me. I’d say I recommend Browns to everyone, but I don’t want them getting too busy! 😉

For value, honesty and dependability, this is the place to bring your car or truck. It's the only place we've brought our cars for the last 10 years! They're the BEST!!

I have taken 3 vehicles to this shop. Robin always does a good job of explaining my options, and is thorough in his inspection of the problems. I have had no issues with the repairs, always on time. definitely the "go to" mechanic if you want it done right!

They were completely transparent and honest with me every step of the way. Even after completing what I had requested they informed me that it didn't fix the problem I was having and wouldn't charge me. Unfortunately to fix the actual problem was a bit out of my budget for now. I will absolutely be coming back as soon as I can.

The Browns are an amazing power duo who are frank, straightforward, and very open to answering my many questions. I was in the market for a used car, and have been having so much trouble just initially wading through all the scammers. When I finally found a car that seemed like a reasonable buy, I took it here for a pre-purchase inspection. I am new to the area, and just didn't have any recommendations for a good local mechanic. I found this shop via Google. I came a bit earlier than the seller to resolve the payment, as well as ask my many questions about tips and tricks for the buying process, as well as huge red flags. They were so patient, very attentive, and didn't sugar coat their words. I was able to pay without an issue for the inspection, and they were nice enough to accommodate and send the report via email and offered to call me to discuss results later in the day, as I had to get to work. They were very straightforward about what they can look at with the inspection, what they probably wouldn't as there was no reasonable way to do it, and gave me advice on info to ask the sellers. Ultimately, I did not buy the car I brought to the shop, as I got estimates on how much it would cost for general maintenance that the seller told me had supposedly already been done. Definitely dodged a bullet!

Good service. They were able to get our SUV in on short notice. However, they did forget to secure a radiator hose clamp. I was able to find it quickly and to secure it myself, no harm done. Even with that, we will use them again. Thanks.
