Took my truck in for some brake work a couple of months ago. They got me in right away and made the repairs in great time. They noticed a problem with U-joints and were able to do the repairs a couple of days later. I was in the process of moving and really couldn't be without my truck. They did a great job and were quick with the repairs. I will definitely be a return customer. I highly recommend Browns Automotive.

This is a follow up to our original review for 2013 Genesis that resurrected & then totally irrevocably DIED & as we were told " just tow it to us & we'll sort it out". We did & they did!!! 1 1/2 days later we were told" it's fixed & ready to go"!!! YAYYY!!! Not the original electrical problem but the alternator had to be replaced after troubleshooting the whole engine --- This saved us quite a bit of money & time - considering Hyundai dealership told us it would be at least 2 weeks before we could get it in -- Browns Automotive lives up to its name-- It's a Quality business and we are so happy to have found them!!! Thank you again!

This auto mechanic was the only one out of more than 7 other mechanics who solved a problem in my car. This mechanic is the most informative mechanic. HONEST. I have given him the worst of mechanical problems and he has solved them all effectively he is extremely talented and understands vehicles foreign and standard. He doesn’t talk much but when he does best to listen. I highly respect this mechanic and his staff. They are human but as a mechanic he gets above 5 stars. Reasonable rates. I had work done on my American vehicle and my foreign vehicle and had others had their vehicles worked on there and all successful. This mechanic expresses much detailed experience and knowledge. Certified in standard and foreign. Thanks for your help and service

The people here have always been genuinely nice and helpful. The repair was explained to me and the pricing was clear. I feel comfortable and confident with the people and work being done at Brown's.

These guys are strait. I have old cars but they always work hard getting the parts. In several instances I was able to see that they are fixing only what's broke and charging me only for work they have done. I'm very happy with my experience with Browns Automotive.

Brown's automotive repeatedly has gone above and beyond the call of duty to ensure my car worked perfectly. They always take the car on time, finish it on time, and give the exact diagnosis which saves me money! I was told by other shops that my engine needed to be rebuilt and thats why my engine was ticking. Mr Brown found that one of my spark plugs was loose and needed to be replaced and the ticking stopped. This save me a lot of hassle and thousands of dollars! They're very friendly and have guaranteed their work! Highly recommended.

We have been bringing our cars to Brown's Quality Automotive Service for many years. When you find a good, honest, and trustworthy mechanic you stick with them!

2500 dollars later problem and never repaired worse than it was brought it back 9 times and lost parts never replaced

My 2013 Hyundai Genesis decided it was going on vacation--- dashboard lights gone - clock gone - radio gone - alllll gone & no way would it start until it decided it felt like it - seriously no jumpstart - tightened cables and then husband pounded on it --- VOILA!! Lights camera action!! Until it happened again & again --- same routine - this was a daily occurrence for 5 days --We found Browns Quality Automotive - scheduled the appointment - spoke with the gentleman at the desk describing the problem- when we mentioned that all electrical just died -'lost radio programming- & clock -- his eyes lit up & said that it sounded familiar!! YAYY!! Left the car & got our call back later that same day---We were told to put new batteries in key fobs & make sure they don't start dying -- because that can cause the whole system to collapse--- New key fob batteries & away we go! No further problems!!! So far( fingers crossed) And the best part was telling us if it happens no matter what time to call -- during business they'll get help to us - after hours at least they will have our msg !! We are very impressed & yep - we feel that we have found excellent service for my aging Genesis!!! Thank you so much!

I arrived for my appointment on an earlier day than scheduled. Very. Nice and accommodating and tried diagnosing the issue. Could not duplicate but found potential solution by reviewing technical bulletins. Issue has not recurred but if does, they will dig deeper.

We had our 2024 Subaru serviced at Brown's, (engine oil and filter, front and rear differential lube change, and CVT fluid change) and as usual the service was fantastic. We recommend Brown's for everyone needing automotive work.

No issues did AC same day, but if a business don’t give VETERANS DISCOUNT it’s always a 1 and done for me.

After moving to Vancouver, I was on a search for a trustworthy mechanic. After doing a lot of research online, I chose Brown’s Quality Automotive. I took my 2016 Mazda CX-5 for a 100k service, and to check out my front brakes, which were squeaking. After leaving the shop 3 hours later, I noticed immediately that my car was driving and braking beautifully. The costs were fair, and they were honest — there was no upselling. I even went back later to thank the mechanic again! I am a VERY happy customer!

New to Vancouver, and after doing a good amount of research to find a new mechanic, I decided to go with Brown’s Quality Automotive. Took my 2016 Mazda CX-5 today for a 100,000 mile service, as well as to check out some concerns I have had with my brakes. Robin gave me an estimate over the phone, and they were able to get me on their schedule quickly.

The service and brakes were done in a few hours, and I had a heart breakfast a few steps away at Carol’s Corner Cafe while I waited. When the service was finished, Robin lowered the labor costs for installation of my cabin filter, as the mechanic was able to access it quite easily.

Based on my previous experiences with mechanics, I’d say that prices at Browns are certainly fair (not the lowest, but definitely fair). After I left the shop to run some errands nearby, I felt compelled to go back to Brown’s Automotive to thank them yet again. This will sound like hyperbole, but it’s the honest truth: my sweet Mazda now brakes and drives better after this service than ever before! I am so thankful to have found an honest and skillful auto mechanic shop here in Vancouver. They will definitely be my go-to shop from now on. A+++
